I love this tree! It's well built and stable. I am baffled by Mr. Peter's evaluation of the product - that parts are going to break. I found no merit to the claim. IF I had any complaint it would be that the filled (weighted) plastic base doesn't really match the wood finish close enough. But, c'est la vie.Anyway - assembly suggestions: instructions are 1 assembly view with parts list to side. Assemble as would be logical, base up - WITH THE FOLLOWING EXCEPTIONS.1) install the short wood legs with integrated screws 2nd-to-last - they thread into the 8 uppermost metal "branches" and retain them.2) Also, keep the topmost part (finial) from the assembly until very last or it will interfere with the installation of the "branches".
