The model Stradivari has been studied drawing inspiration from the violin, a sole musical instrument and became a work of art thanks to the famous lute-maker who lived in Cremona, Antonio Stradivari. The plinth (base of the machine) reminds him of the violin case and the lever to the bow. The result is to obtain a performance and an aesthetic and functional pleasure.

Lifting the lever raises a piston inside the group, allowing water under pressure to infuse the coffee in the filter holder. The lever is then lowered, causing the piston to force the water through the coffee into the cup. The user therefore can vary the speed at which the water passes through the coffee, enabling a level of control not possible on an electric pump machine.
